The display uses brighter leading characters, darker green trails, and slower background streams so the screen fills in layers instead of as one uniform field.

Matrix Digital Rain with CoCoSDC audio.
MATRIX.CSM is the newest version of the project. It runs the Matrix Digital Rain effect with audio through CoCoSDC and the CoCo SDC Media Player on a 512K Tandy Color Computer 3. A visual-only DSK version is still available as a secondary download.

Current version
MATRIX.CSM is the main Matrix Digital Rain build.
The current version combines the Test14-style Matrix effect with audio playback through CoCoSDC. The standalone DSK uses the same visual effect without the audio layer.
Progressive fade and afterglow
Characters move through multiple brightness levels as they fall away. The later Test14 build adds the afterglow behavior used as the current visual baseline.
Rain ramps in
The effect starts with fewer active streams and builds toward a full-screen rain pattern.
Any key exits
The standalone hardware-tested build exits when a key is pressed.
Real CoCo 3 tested
The current standalone build was tested on a physical 512K Tandy Color Computer 3.

This is the separate CSM version running through Ed Snider's CoCo SDC Media Player. It pairs the Matrix effect with “Trinity Infinity.”
MATRIX.CSM version
The CSM build uses CoCoSDC and the CoCo SDC Media Player for synchronized audio playback. The standalone DSK below is visual-only and does not require the media player.

Download Ed Snider's player, unzip it, and copy the files to a FAT32-formatted SD card used with your CoCoSDC.
Mount PLAY.DSK
Mount PLAY.DSK from the media player files.
Load the player
At BASIC, enter LOADM"SDCM.BIN".
Start it
Enter EXEC &H5800 to start the CoCo SDC Media Player.
Select MATRIX.CSM
Navigate to MATRIX.CSM and press Enter to play it.
Player controls: Up/Down moves through the file list. Left goes back a directory. Right enters a directory or launches a
.CSM file. Enter selects a file or directory.
